1.chain data : It designates entire movement. FS. Num out of chain data designates FS to be used. |
2. FS Data : It designates air cam movement. Jacquard number out of FS data designates Jacquard to be used. |
3. Jacquard Data : It defines actual actuator movement. |
< Correlation of chain data, F.S. and Jacquard data >
1) Chain Data
Drumless controller has movements that
are basically defined by chain data.
Chain Data is the basic data
that designates and controls the entire movements of the machine.
It designates and uses movements of air cam, actuator and yarn, and
pattern knitting, speed, motor rotation direction and it requires special
caution to designate and use the data.
(1) Configuration of Chain Data
|
1) main movement |
-1- Main Movement : This designates basic movements including direction, step number, F.S. num, speed, stitch.
a. Position
This is for designating position.
It is indicated as Start, Make-Up, Plane, Gum, Knit- Gum, Transfer,
Leg, Knit-Leg, Heel-Up, Heel-Dn, Foot, Knit-Foot, Ringle-Toe, Toe-Up,
Toe-Dn, Rosso, Lose.
How to Correct
* Correction
and editing are made only in the DL-WIN program.
*In Step 1,
¡®Start¡¯ must be designated. And if ¡®Start¡¯ is designated during
the step process, that means the whole step will begin from the
Step 1. Therefore, caution is needed in designating position.
b. FS. N : This designates fixed selection numbers of
1 to 40, Wait (in case of 0), Pat.. (in case of 100).
Number
from 1 to 40
This designates already set data in order to designate
air cam movements of Start, Transfer, Heel, and actuator movement.
Special caution is required to designate the position. (Numbers
38, 39, 40 are usually for Q¡¯rtn.)
Wait (0)
This is used
for fixed movements of nylon knitting transfer, gum knitting, heel
or toe knitting. In gum knitting (1:1), gum knitting is possible
regardless of pattern if 1c movement for Jacquard is set as 1:1,
and 1F is set as up-movement.
Pat..(100)
This is for leg
and foot pattern knitting. Pattern knitting is already set in diskette.
How to Correct
Place cursor at "FS.N" and
press 3 digits (0,1-40,00). Then Press SET key (ESC to cancel).
* Whether to correct the pattern or not is asked twice because
it is an important information. ("SET" for correction
and "ESC" for cancellation).
c. Size
: This is the length of step. The size should be designated as 1
if "FS.N" is 1 to 40. And it should be designated properly
when it comes to Wait and Pattern.
How to Correct
Place cursor at "Size" and press 4 digits, for instance,
0020 for designating 20 rotations.
d. Spd. : This
designates the speed of present step. The speed should be designated
as 80 if "FS.N" is 1 to 40(because this is cam movement).
And it should be designated properly when it comes to Wait and Pattern
(usually 200-350; and maximum 512). Special caution should be taken
because it becomes the actual speed in operation.
How
to Correct
Place cursor at "Spd" and press 3 digits.
For instance, 080 for designating 80 rotations.
e.
Stitch : This designates stitch number to be used. "F8"
key designates the stitch value at knitting mode.
How
to Correct
Place cursor at "Sti" and press 2 digits(01-80).
f. Dir : This designates rotation direction, and
special caution should be taken.
"F" : This
designates start, rubber, leg, foot, except heel and toe knitting.
"U" : This stand for UP. This designates heel
and toe up movements.
"D" : This stand for
DOWN. This designates heel and toe down movements.
How
to Correct
Place cursor at "Dir" and press SET key.
Then rotation directions alternate.
* Designate "U"
for heel and toe up movements and "D" for heel and toe
down movements.
* Whether to correct the direction or not is
asked twice because it is an important information.
(2)Ringle Movement : This designates movements of main yarn, doors, rubber yarn related cam(rubber yarn, scissors, roller, center)
|
|
(3)Color Yarn : This designates movements of yarn of each F and Pile HEAD.
|
|
[ For Special POS. Data ]
If position value of ringle and color
yarn is "999", start with the designated movement, regardless
of position. Accordingly, in chain step 1, values are already set, depending
on the requirement.
(4)Others : This designates DP, SDC, OIL, D.A, S.O.
DP : This
indicates Down-picker.
SDC :This indicates foot pattern knitting.
OIL :This indicates oil pump operation.
D.A :This indicates
Double-welt suction movement.
S.O :This indicates sock exit movement.
How to Correct
Place cursor at "ETC-act", and press
1 (DP on, off), 2 (SDC on, off), 3 (Oil on, off), 4 (D.A on, off), 5
(S.O on, off).
2) Fixed Selection Data
This designates movements of
air cam and actuator that are needed for machine operation. It can use
40 data from 1 to 40, and it usually uses 38, 39, 40 as the movement
for Q¡¯rtn (re-start). 1 to 37 are used for normal movement.
And
this data can designate a total of 28 air cam movements per actuator.
|
An English name of air cam appears. |
Fixed Selection Data is as above. Input "F" Jacquard data at the bottom.
How to Use

- Check PCB for rubber and stitch, and replace
fuse and PCB.
(6)In case there is a problem with change in encoder value,
- If the encoder value is not correct, the basic movement of controller
goes wrong. Check the following.
Check if the numbers operate properly
when the machine is turned by handle at zero point setting mode of setting
mode.
- If there is a problem, refer to zero point setting mode
and check.
Check encoder bundle and gear, coupling and cable.
- In case it is still not operational, replace CPU.
(7)In case there is a problem with a movement,
- Check if encoder
value (indicated in "X" position) in editing screen changes.
- Check the length of chain step decreases properly.
- Controller
proceeds all the movements based on encoder movement. Therefore, if
the encoder value is not correct, the basic movement goes wrong. Check
the value first.
Note for A/S
(1) In case of CPU replacement
-1-If CPU board is replaced for its malfunction, it should be replaced according to the following.
a. 2 ROMs in original board should be moved to a new CPU board
If this is not possible even after the board replacement, re-input
all the data that includes "basic data" file, "F-S",
"chain", "Jacquard", "pattern".
After the re-input, check setting functions of "zero point
setting", "rubber roller" and "stitch motor"
and set them.
b. Encoder zero point should be reset. (Refer
to zero point setting mode.)
c. Stitch value should be re-input.
d. Oil amount and Ring blowerstate should be reset.
e.
Pattern knitting method should be reset.
f. Check the functions
of setting mode, including heel position.
g. Re-input the pattern.
-2-In case of other board replacement
a. F(actuator) PCB replacement
Replacement
is possible because F-PCB like 1F, 1C,...5C are all the same.
b. Main yarn- air cam PCB replacement
Check
if the movement of all cams.
c. Rubber and stitch mot PCB replacement
Set DIP S/W of board and other Jumper
S/W the same as original board.
-3- change cylinder
a. In case needle is changed due to needle replacement, needle
in controller should be changed according to the following.
Needle should be changed to ¡®needle to be changed¡¯ in needle setting
mode.
b.On after power off
c. Check the Jacquard arrangement
: refer to Jacquard arrangement in editing mode.
d. Reset encorder
zero point : refer to zero point setting mode.
e. Chain and
pattern re-input : refer to F-S and Jacquard data
